Learn About My Faith, Beliefs and Christian Resources
Some of you might be wondering why I have a section about faith on my Keto website... Simply put, it's the "Christian" in Keto Cooking Christian that moves me to share my faith. Believers in Christ are called to spread the Gospel: And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation". Mark 16:15
What I Believe
- I believe in one God, our Creator, existing in 3 persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who is omniscient (all-knowing), omnipresent (always/ever present) and omnipotent (all-powerful). (Romans 1:20, Jer. 23:24, Psalm 139:1-6, Isaiah 40:28)
- I believe the Holy Scriptures, being the inspired (God-breathed) Word of God, is the infallible, supreme and final authority on all matters of faith and of life, given to us for guidance, inspiration, correction, conviction and training in righteousness. (2 Tim. 3:16)
- I believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father. He walked this earth, lived a perfect sinless life (spotless Lamb) and gave Himself as a sacrifice to atone for the sins of mankind. All who accept His gift of salvation are redeemed and will live eternally with Him. (John 1:14, 2 Cor. 5:21, 1 Peter 1:19, Romans 10:8-13)
- I believe Jesus Christ is the only Intercessor/Mediator and path to salvation and eternal life, no one comes to the Father, but through Him. Salvation is a gift by grace through faith and is not earned by our works. All who follow Him (the church/body of Christ) should live out their faith, shining His light by serving others and sharing the Gospel. (1 Tim. 2:5, John 14:6, Eph. 2:8-9, Matt. 5:14-16, Mark 16:15)
- I believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, now seated at the right hand of the Father, and His second coming to establish His millennial kingdom. (Romans 6:4, Romans 8:34, Matt. 24:30-31, Rev. 20:4)
Many of you are already believers in Christ, some are not, while others might be a little curious. Some believe that we were all created by a Creator, but have never considered a relationship with Him.
If you haven't accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, it is really just as simple as this:
Believe in Your Heart
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6
Acknowledge that we are all sinners
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
Repent of (turn from) your sins
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us. 1 John 1:9-10
Accept the Gift of Salvation
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philppians 4:13
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23
Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Ephesians 6:10
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. Psalm 32:8
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13

Hey Julianne! I have to say that I am so excited that I found your website (through Pinterest) today. I just recently started a low carb/Keto "lifestyle" last week. I'm struggling on a few things (Egg Nog this time of year haha) and a couple of other things like certain veggies I was told to stay away from, two of them being onions and tomatoes. Any suggestions on substitutions for these or if I consume them in very little quantities would it be ok?
What I also want to say above the Keto part is how much I love the fact that you are using your talents that God gave you to help others but most importantly to spread His word and love. I'm a firm believer as well and know how important it is for us to use what God has given us to tell others about Him....after all, that's what He commands us to do! So thank you for using this as a ministry!

Thank you for sharing your faith, I too am a Christian. I believe that God has brought me to your site. Last summer I was working the keto lifestyle has I needed to loose weight for a surgery. I was successful in loosing 30lbs. This year post surgery I got lazy and returned to old habit of fast foods only to regain the weight. I have been questioning myself about my trust in God.and his provision. I also struggle with really bad addition to food. I have been struggling to to return to this Keto lifestyle, then I came across your web site. I believe that by you sharing your faith here, GOD is guiding me to your site. Thank you so much for sharing your faith. I, too, am a Christian and on Keto. It's nice to find a wonderful site like yours to connect with and guide me through this Keto walk. I just bought all your books and I'm excited to get back on the Keto train after falling off during this covid-19 period where, at times, I could not find all the items I needed. Unfortunately, I slipped back into some of the old way of eating. Now I'm ready to move forward again. I originally lost 32 lbs the first 5 months. My diabetes was through the roof and was taking 20-40 units of insulin per meal and 50 units at night. With Keto my Dr stopped all my mealtime insulin and cut my night time insulin almost in half. I went from an A1C of 7.8 to 5.8 within two months. This is a lifesaver for me! It can be for others too. My Dr is so supportive and so proud of my success. I strongly encourage others to work with your Dr through this lifestyle. Thank you so much for all you do and for the ministry outreach you have for the women and children. Prayers and God Bless you. I have often thought as Christians who profess that our body is a temple of God we should be aware of what we are doing to it daily. If we elect not to do something that will cause our bodies His Temples to be less than it should be for His Service eating that which is harmful should be avoided. There are so many foods that we can eat to take the place of our favorite carby foods and still be very satisfied. Planning out your meals ahead of time is a great idea to help you stay on track! I agree, we have been misled for many years on what we should and shouldn't be eating. The amount of harmful preservatives, hormones, antibiotics and GMO's that are in our food is appalling.
