    ☑️ Storage Instructions

Fridge: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Freezer: Freeze individual portions in small containers for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge.

🍴 What to Serve with Chia Seed Pudding

    • Keto whipped cream: Light and fluffy, it’s the perfect topping.
    • Homemade brownies: Pair this dessert with Keto Brownies for a double dose of chocolate.
    • Fresh Berries: Strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries add a bright, fruity contrast.

💡 Tips for Making Chia Seed Pudding

    • Sift the cocoa powder: To ensure a smooth texture, sift the cocoa powder before mixing it into the pudding.
    • Use a whisk: A whisk works better than a spoon for evenly incorporating the cocoa powder and sweetener.
    • Taste before chilling: Mix everything thoroughly, then taste and adjust the sweetness or chocolate intensity before setting it in the fridge.
    • Garnish right before serving: Add toppings like whipped cream, fruit, or chocolate shavings just before eating to keep them fresh and visually appealing.
    • Use ground chia seeds: If you don’t like the texture of whole chia seeds, you can blend them into a powder before mixing.

    🔄 Substitutions and Additions

    • Peanut butter swirl: Mix in a spoonful of sugar-free peanut butter for a chocolate-peanut butter vibe.
    • Almond milk substitute: Use unsweetened almond milk for a lighter version.
    • Spice it up: Add a pinch of cinnamon or cayenne for a spicy twist.
    • Extra chocolate: Stir in keto-friendly chocolate chips before chilling.
    • Berry burst: Top with fresh raspberries or strawberries for a fruity touch.
    • Coconut crunch: Sprinkle toasted coconut flakes on top for added texture.
    • Protein boost: Mix in a scoop of keto-friendly protein powder.

    Why Isn’t My Pudding Thickening?

Make sure you’re using whole chia seeds and giving the pudding enough time to chill. This should solve any thickening issues.

Are Chia Seeds Okay on Keto?

They sure are. Chia seeds are mainly made of fat, and fiber and therefore contain a low amount of net carbs.

Can I Make This Recipe Nut-Free?

Coconut is technically a fruit, but for those with nut allergies, always confirm if coconut is safe. If needed, substitute coconut milk with a nut-free, keto-friendly milk alternative like oat milk.

Can I add other flavors to the pudding?

Yes, you can! Try adding a splash of peppermint extract, a pinch of cinnamon, or even a bit of espresso powder for a mocha twist.
