Some of you might be thinking, why make an apple pie spice when we typically don't eat apples on Keto? Because it's perfect to use in Keto mock apple pie recipes!
I've recently created several recipes using chayote squash as a Low Carb substitute for apples and it's incredible! The texture, flavor and even the look of it, is so much like apples you won't believe it.
This apple spice mix can be used to make anything that you want to give an spiced apple flavor to, including Keto mock applesauce, mock apple muffins and mock apple crisp. I think you will be very pleasantly surprised when you give these recipes a try!

How to Make Apple Pie Spice
Add all the ingredients to a bowl and whisk together, that’s it!
Store in an airtight jar at room temperature.
Makes 3 tablespoons.

- ½ teaspoon ground allspice
