💡 Tips for Making Yogurt Bark

  • Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the creamiest texture and best flavor.
  • Line your pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup easy.
  • Place the pan on a level spot in the freezer to ensure it sets evenly.
  • Gently press the fruit and nuts into the yogurt so they stay in place when frozen.
  • Slice into pieces with a sharp knife for clean edges or snap it apart for a more rustic look.

🔄 Substitutions and Additions

  • Nuts: Swap the cashews for almonds, pecans, or granola for extra crunch.
  • Yogurt: Use vanilla Greek yogurt instead of plain for a touch of extra flavor.
  • Different berries: Feel free to add raspberries, blackberries, or a mix of all three.
  • Shredded coconut: Shredded coconut is a wonderful addition for extra texture and a tropical twist.
  • Maple: Stir in a little maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter bark.

Can I Use Flavored Yogurt Instead of Plain Greek Yogurt?

Yes! Flavored Greek yogurt works well, but keep in mind it may contain added sugar. If using vanilla yogurt, you might want to adjust the vanilla extract.

How Do I Keep the Bark from Becoming Too Hard to Eat?

Let it sit at room temperature for a couple of minutes before eating. This softens it slightly without melting.

Can I Add Protein Powder to This Recipe?

Yes, you can mix in a scoop of vanilla or unflavored protein powder for an extra protein boost. Just whisk it well with the yogurt to avoid clumps.

How Do I Prevent Freezer Burn?

Store the bark in an airtight container and make sure it’s fully frozen before sealing to keep it fresh longer.

Can I Make This Dairy-free?

Yes! Use a thick plant-based yogurt like coconut or almond yogurt for a dairy-free version.
