    ☑️ Storage Instructions

    • Room temperature: Store the nuts in an airtight container for up to a week or two. Just keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
    • Fridge: To add a little more shelf life, store the nuts in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They will stay fresh for up to 1 month.
    • Freezer: To keep the nuts fresh longer, place them in a freezer-safe container or resealable bag and store them in the freezer. They can be stored for up to 3 months.

🍴 Ways to Serve Mixed Roasted Nuts

    • Salad topping: Sprinkle them over salads for an added crunch and burst of flavor.
    • Trail mix: Combine with dried fruits and sugar-free chocolate chips for a homemade trail mix.
    • Charcuterie boards: Include them in your charcuterie or cheese boards.
    • Snack packs: Portion them into small bags or containers for easy, on-the-go snacks. These are great for snacks on planes or in the car when traveling.
    • Soups: Use them as a garnish for keto soups, especially creamy ones, to add a crunchy contrast.
    • Gift jars: Package them in decorative jars as thoughtful, homemade gifts for friends and family.

💡 Tips for Making Keto Roasted Nuts

    • You’ll want to make sure to evenly coat the seasoning mixture to guarantee consistent flavor in every bite.
    • Spread the nuts in a single layer on the baking sheet for even roasting.
    • Keep an eye on the nuts while they're roasting to prevent burning. They can go from golden to burnt quickly, so check them frequently, especially towards the end of the baking time.
    • Stir the nuts halfway through the roasting time so they can roast evenly on all sides.
    • Allow the nuts to cool completely on the baking sheet before transferring them to a closed container. This helps them crisp up and retain their crunchiness.
    • Depending on your oven and the size of the nuts, you may need to adjust the baking time slightly. Keep an eye on them and roast them until they are golden brown.

    🔄 Substitutions and Additions

    • Nuts: Feel free to mix and match your favorite nuts. Walnuts, hazelnuts, or pistachios can be great choices.
    • Smoked paprika: Add depth of flavor with a sprinkle of smoked paprika.
    • Topping: Top the roasted and cooled nuts with a little Parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast.
    • Spice: For a hint of heat, mix in a pinch of chili powder or cayenne pepper to the seasoning blend.
    • Rosemary: Add a little dried rosemary into the seasoning mixture for a fragrant twist.
    • Sesame seeds: You can add some sesame seeds to the nut mixture for added flavor and texture.

    Are These Roasted Nuts Keto?

Yes, absolutely! These nuts are made with low-carb varieties and a homemade keto-friendly ranch seasoning, making them a perfect snack for those following a keto diet.

Why Not Just Buy Roasted Nuts Instead?

These homemade Ranch Roasted Nuts allow you to control the ingredients and ensure they align with your Keto goals. Plus, they're fresher, tastier, and free from any hidden sugars or additives commonly found in store-bought nuts.

Can I Make Them in Larger Batches?

Absolutely! Simply double or triple the ingredients to make a larger batch. Just be sure to use multiple baking sheets or roast the nuts in batches to ensure even cooking.

How Do I Know if My Roasted Nuts are Still Good?

Give them a sniff; if they have a sour or musty odor, they may be rancid. Taste a small piece; rancid nuts will have a bitter or sour flavor instead of their usual nutty taste.
