These Taco Dip Cups take everything people love about layered taco dip and turn it into personal party friendly servings. No messy scooping, no half empty pan on the table, just cute little cups filled with taco toppings and ready to grab. Kids love them, grown ups love them, so don’t be expecting leftovers!

What I really love is how quick they come together. Most ingredients can be store bought which means you can assemble a whole tray in minutes. They look fresh, colorful and fun on the table and you do not share a bowl so everyone gets the perfect bite every time.

💡 Tips

  • Prep ingredients ahead so assembly takes only minutes when it is time to serve.
  • Use clear plastic cups to show off every layer of taco dip.
  • Cool the taco meat slightly before adding so the cold layers stay crisp and fresh.
  • Spoon the sour cream into a piping bag or zip bag for a cleaner layer.
  • Keep cups cold until serving to maintain the layers and flavor.

  • Seasoning: Add a sprinkle of Taco Seasoning to sour cream for extra flavor.
  • Tomatoes: Garnish with fresh chopped tomatoes for a brighter taste.
  • Toppings: Top with crushed low carb tortilla chips for crunch and texture.

Can I Use Ground Turkey Instead of Beef?

Yes, just season it the same way you would taco meat.

Which Size Cups Work Best?

Clear nine ounce cups work well for easy layering and scooping.

Can I Prep the Layers Early Without Everything Getting Soggy?

You can assemble them up to four hours before serving and keep them chilled.

Do These Travel Well to Potlucks or Parties?

They sure do. Just place the cups inside a deep tray or casserole dish so they stay upright in transit.
