    About Me

Eating Keto should not only be healthy, but downright delicious!

You’ve probably tried other diets and found your way to Keto because of all the hype you’ve heard and seen surrounding this popular way of eating. You know it works for some people, but deep down you might be wondering if it will really work for you?

After all, you’ve tried and failed so many times and you’re tired of the cravings, the exhaustion, the frustration, and the choice between food that looks like cardboard or spending hours in the kitchen for a meal that’s gone in 20 minutes. That’s all in the past, friend!

Here at Keto Cooking Christian, the focus is on recipes so delectable you’ll never call the way you’re eating a diet again! And -even if you’ve never been a cook before- the recipe instructions are so simple and clear you’ll feel confident in your own kitchen and savor every meal you make.

When you enjoy your meals so much you never feel deprived, success happens easily one day at a time.

Imagine walking into your kitchen excited to make your next delicious meal or decadent dessert. That’s what happens for those who eat Keto Cooking Christian recipes. You get to savor every bite and never feel like you’re missing out.

This dessert was absolutely outrageous and easy to make. My husband who is non-keto devoured the entire dish and only left me one portion. Thank you so much for all your hard work and great recipes.

Hi, I’m Julianne, the creator at Keto Cooking Christian and I’m so glad to welcome you here!

I learned to cook as a young girl watching my Italian grandparents make amazing meals the entire family would enjoy and carried that passion for cooking traditional dishes into adulthood.

When my health issues became serious, I had to make some lifestyle changes. I removed destructive carbs, sugar, harmful preservatives, hormones, antibiotics and GMO’s from my diet.

Switching to a Keto lifestyle didn’t mean I had to give up my passion for cooking, though; it just meant I needed to change the ingredients I was working with! I take traditional dishes and give them a Keto makeover, using clean ingredients everyone can enjoy.

I believe God gave us a beautiful variety of nourishing, nurturing foods with delightful flavors, textures, and taste profiles that He surely wanted us to enjoy. Keto Cooking Christian is all about helping you delight in every bite!

It’s such a privilege to encourage so many people in their Keto lifestyle and give them the recipes they need to never feel deprived on their daily journey to a healthier body.

However, this site does so much more than that, too!

    Tim Tebow Foundation

Keto Cooking Christian supports the Tim Tebow Foundation Anti-Trafficking Ministry, and Vision Beyond Borders Vision for Women Ministry which are both very near and dear to my heart.

They rescue women and children from the most unimaginable situations of bondage in human trafficking, both locally and in remote and dangerous parts of the world. To learn more about this very worthy cause, please visit the Tim Tebow Foundation and Vision Beyond Borders websites.

I work hard to provide you with excellent, easy to follow recipes and consider it an honor to serve you and support ministries that change lives at the same time.

Every time you buy a recipe book, visit a page on the site, or share something you’ve enjoyed, you’re not just spreading the Keto love - you’re supporting women being rescued.

In addition to recipes that leave you so satisfied you won’t even be tempted to think about what you’ve given up, there’s also support.

Many people struggle with transitioning to the Keto diet (you’re not alone!), so in addition to tasty recipes you’ll also find helpful information and tips to make the journey a little easier.

Hi….you have some absolutely wondering recipes here! I’ve loved all that I’ve tried so far. My question is about sweets. We all need sweets from time to time but absolutely cannot take the sugar substitutes. Is there any sweets that can be made without these sweeteners?

      Thank you!

Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m thrilled to hear that you’ve been enjoying the recipes. When it comes to keto-friendly desserts, sweeteners are typically an essential component to making them a "sweet treat" without the carbs. Unfortunately, it’s very challenging to create keto desserts without some form of sweetener. I wish I could be of more help.

      Hi Julianne
I’ve been wanting to start Keto lifestyle for over two years but am finding it very confusing in how to clean out my pantry and restock with keto friendly foods. Do you have a list of staples I need to start this process. I find that buying items for specific recipes doesn’t work without having a staples pantry setup. In Australia we don’t always have the brand names you have but I can substitute as long as it’s keto, at least most of the times. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Blessings to you sister. 🙏😊💕

      Hi, Good Day,
My name is Gus from South Africa, and I am very interested in your Keto recipes, due to health
reasons. But I have been stonewalled by a major problem. Half of the recipe ingredients are not available
in SA. I am in particular interested in the 'Best homemade Keto bread', but cannot find wheat gluten any where
in SA. Is there possibly a good substitute for vital wheat flour? I have found substitutes for some other unobtainable
      ingredients, but not the flour.
      Many thanks, Gus.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; but fools despise wisdom and instruction-Proverbs 1:7

Shortly before being regenerated (truly born again) I became interested in eating healthier. The bible showed me so much TRUTH that I realized most of all what we see is lies and deception.
I started working in a local food bank and the LORD showed me just how much food goes to waste in this country. Quality foods like organic and non GMO foods often end up in the food banks because they cost more. Jesus said that narrow is the way that leads to life and few there be that find it. The masses, or the broadway are so distracted by the world that they don't even realize the food they are eating is poison created in a laboratory. This is sorcery (pharmakia) in the Bible. This is also the the Broadway that leads to destruction that Jesus warned us about.

          Ecclesiasticus 18:27-32
[27]A wise man will fear in every thing, and in the day of sinning he will beware of offence: but a fool will not observe time.
[28]Every man of understanding knoweth wisdom, and will give praise unto him that found her.
[29]They that were of understanding in sayings became also wise themselves, and poured forth exquisite parables.
[30]Go not after thy lusts, but refrain thyself from thine appetites.
[31]If thou givest thy soul the desires that please her, she will make thee a laughingstock to thine enemies that malign thee.
[32]Take not pleasure in much good cheer, neither be tied to the expence thereof.

I thank God for finding this site and I pray he Blesses you abundantly Sister. Keep up the Good work!

I'm so glad to hear you're walking with Christ and have clearly been gifted with discernment from Him. It's absolutely sickening how many harmful additives are in our foods and it's incredibly sad that most are completely unaware of this. Broad is the path of destruction indeed... We just have to be obedient in allowing the Lord to use us, to lead others through the narrow gate. Lord bless and keep you dear brother, and thanks for your sweet words!

Hello, I'm new to this, about a week in, and I just noticed, that I thought I was doing it correctly. 20-30g of carbs, not 20%. Whoops. Now, I'm just worried that it's going to take longer to go into ketosis. I've already lost 15lbs, I'm sure it's water weight. But, I just don't want to be discouraged. Did I mess up?

Looking for a no bake cheese cake using cream cheese-- I used to make one and added lemon juice but I cannot find my recipe to adapt changes -- BTW I too am a Christian - glad I found your blog! I made this recipe tonight, it was by far the best recipe I’ve made so far, I didn’t have the mascarpone cheese so I google a substitute and made it and use that instead. This is definitely a keeper. I sautéed the fresh mushrooms and fresh spinach together in a little olive oil and drained it before mixing with the chicken. And of course I probably added a little more mozzarella cheese than the recipe called for. Thanks for this recipe, it’s amazing!

Hello! Regarding the nutrition info for your coffee crumb cake recipe, you list 2g of sugar. Is that actual sugar or sugar alcohol? If it is sugar, where is it coming from?
      Thanks so much!

Thank you so much for your recipes and insight into Keto. I started Keto on January 12th with a goal of dropping my A1C out of diabetes and pre diabetes range by mid April. I had gotten it down from 6.9 to 6.4 in the previous 6 months. Now my goal is 5.6. I very much enjoy trying your recipes and words of Keto wisdom!

        Hi Karen,
I'm sorry to hear you're tempted to cheat. I think this time of year, a lot of people are in the same boat. For me, the key to staying engaged is to constantly mixing things up. I'll pray for you and I hope you find some recipes that you enjoy, that will help you stay on track!

The mini cheesecake recipe is there a typo with the crust where you say divide into 16 equal parts but your pan is for twelve or do I need another pan? Thanks

Hi Julianne. I am pretty new to the Keto lifestyle and I'd like to make your Almond Joy Fudge - Keto and Low Carb recipe. I use the carb manager tracker and I'm just not sure how to add both the fudge portion and the condensed milk portion. I'm so new that I'm still in that I have to track everything as accurate as possible phase, and I'm not sure how to allocate the carbs, fats and proteins for the overall product. I noticed that the milk would probably be reduced to a cup and I would use all of that for the recipe. Is it accurate that I would have 16 servings of fudge and use 14 servings of the milk (all of it)? Would the total for the milk become 14 carbs? I'm a little lost. I guess simply asking - do you have the total macro counts for the final product per serving (which will be 16 servings) - Please help. I am a teacher and of my colleagues is very active in Mission One and Vision Beyond Borders -In Faith, Continuing what Christ started...

        Hi Darlene,
I have already calculated the macros including the amount of sweetened condensed milk that I used. There are 16 servings for the entire fudge recipes, each one has 5 total carbs, and 3 net. Glad to hear that your colleague is active with VBB, they are an absolutely amazing ministry!

        Hi Elizabeth,
I'm not sure why that would be, I can see all the images from both my computer and phone perfectly. Maybe you have a popup blocker or other setting turned on that you can change? Not sure what else would sauce that.

Thank you Jesus I've found your website. I've been reading a few books and I feel it's so much "New Age" insight. Ive been feeling like God is leading me away from those, and I need to find a Christian base keto. I'm getting confused with, no nightshade veggies and zero fruit from other keto diets. I've suffered through some major health problems in the past. On a hand full of meds and I hate it. The meds have made me gain 60 pounds in a year. I want to lose weight, I've always been health and a normal weight. If I follow these recipes will this help my weight lose journey? I've been Praying for God to help me. Many Blessings, Kara

        Hi Kara,
I cannot blame you for wanting to steer clear of the books that have a new age feel to them! Sorry to hear about the meds and gaining weight from them. So many people have not only lost weight, but have been able to get off many of their meds from being on Keto. The fruits and veggies that we get to enjoy on Keto are on my Keto Foods list @ https://ketocookingchristian.com/keto-foods-list/. The recipes on my site are all Keto friendly and should help you in your journey to lose weight and hopefully get off those meds! Additionally, you can join our Facebook support group where we share recipes, encourage, support and pray for each other! Many resources are also shared in the group, and if you'd like you can join us @ https://www.facebook.com/groups/2035885496450609/. Lord bless you on this new journey!
