Burgers: Serve a dollop over this Smash Burger or Smash Burger Tacos.
Fries: Use as a dipping sauce for Zucchini Fries, Halloumi Fries, Eggplant Fries or Avocado Fries.
Chicken: This spicy mayo is also great for dipping Chicken Tenders, Chicken Patties or Popcorn Chicken.
Seafood: Drizzle over Shrimp Po’ Boy, Crab Stuffed Salmon, Cucumber Salmon Rolls or serve with this easy Shrimp Cocktail.
Tacos: You can also serve it over these Asian Shrimp Tacos, Mahi Mahi Tacos or these Mini Taco Bites.

💡 Tips
- Use a good quality mayonnaise or make your own. There are only 5 ingredients to this sauce, so each one really counts.
- Don’t overdo it on the sesame oil. It already has a strong flavor, and can very quickly overpower the mayo if you add too much. Ask me how I know this…
- Use fresh lime juice, not the bottled stuff, it really makes a difference.
- If you mix it up and find it’s a little too spicy for you, add in some more mayonnaise and that will tame it down some.

🔄 Substitutions and Additions
- If you don’t have fresh lime juice, you can add in lemon juice instead.
- For more of a Bang Bang style sauce, add in a small amount of Sambal to give it even more flavor.
- For even more heat, add in some red pepper flakes. I’d start with 1/2 teaspoon, taste and add more if you need to.
- If you don’t have mayonnaise, you can use Greek yogurt instead, just know this will change up the flavor a bit. It will still taste delicious, but will have more of a tang to it.
- For even more flavor, you can grate in a close of garlic before whisking.
- For a mild onion flavor and beautiful bright green color, add in some finely chopped chives.

What can I do with spicy mayo?
As I listed above, there are so many different ways to serve it. The most popular being with seafood, burgers or a dipping sauce.
What to put in mayo to make it spicy?
Traditionally and in this recipe, Sriracha is where the heat comes from. But as I also mentioned above, Sambal can also help give it a little more heat and great flavor.
What exactly is spicy mayonnaise?
Classic spicy mayo has mayonnaise, Sriracha and lime, but I added in a little toasted sesame oil to give it a little more Asian flair.
Is spicy mayo keto friendly?
Absolutely! Not only is it low in carbs, but it’s also loaded with healthy fat, making it ideal for keto.
