How to Make Keto Chocolate Mousse

Add the chocolate chips to a bowl and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds.

Stir and continue heating in 10 second increments until the chocolate has melted.

In a mixing bowl, add in the cream cheese, vanilla extract and melted chocolate.  Mix using a hand mixer until combined.

In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks.

Fold into the cream cheese mixture until everything is well combined.  Chill in the fridge until it has fully set.

Take a glass, jar or cup and using a pastry bag, pipe in some of the mousse, then spoon some of the raspberry sauce, then more of the mousse, creating a layered look.  Repeat the process with each serving.

Alternatively, you can create more servings of a mini mousse dessert and use shot glasses instead.

You sure can! This Keto chocolate mousse recipe will keep for up to several days in the fridge. Make sure it’s covered well or stored in an air tight container and it will be fine.

It’s really not recommended that you try to freeze mousse because the texture changes significantly when frozen.

What Type Sweetener is Best for Keto Mousse?

For this recipe, the sweetness comes from the sugar-free white chocolate chips and the Swerve sweetener in the raspberry sauce. If you prefer, you can also use allulose in the sauce. Both sugar substitutes work really well in this recipe.

How to Keep the Mousse Light and Airy

The key to fluffy mousse starts with beating your heavy cream until it has firm stiff peaks. Make sure the bowl you use for beating the cream is super clean and dry.

  1. I would love to make your raspberry mousse and sauce but do not understand the weight measurements. 0.25 whole egg, 0.08cup of butter, etc. Can you do it in ounces or grams. Thank you for your consideration.
