Looking for a quick dessert?  This could not be easier and really satisfies!  If you are needing to add more fat to your diet, this quick dessert will give you a whopping 19 grams of fat.  It’s one of my favorite go-to quickie desserts!

If you have never had mascarpone cheese, I can best describe it as a cross between Cream Cheese and Crème Fraîche. It has a very mild flavor and is very smooth and creamy.  The best part – it has zero carbs!   It’s incredibly versatile, I use it in so many dishes, both sweet and savory.  I use it in making fat bombs, to make sauces extra creamy, tarts and I use it in frostings.

What’s in Berries and Cream?

  • Mascarpone cheese
  • Heavy cream
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Fresh blueberries
  • Pure vanilla extract
  • Liquid Stevia

*Exact measurements are listed in the recipe card below.

How to Make Fresh Berries and Cream

Add the mascarpone cheese to a bowl and whip using a hand mixer.

Add in the heavy cream, stevia and vanilla, continue mixing until combined.

Add strawberries around the edges of the bowl and top with a dollop of the cream. Add the blueberries, and garnish with one on top.

Make this recipe with any berries you prefer, or a mix of them all.

Are Berries Keto?

Berries are allowed on Keto in moderation because out of most all other fruit, berries are the lowest in sugar. When mixed with a healthy fat, like this cream or cream cheese, they are a really quick, healthy and satisfying snack.

Berries are very nutritious. There’re an excellent source of antioxidants and are high in fiber. To read more about the health benefits of berries, read this article from Healthline.

What are the Carbs in Blueberries?

There’re approximately 18 net grams of carbs per cup of blueberries. Since most Keto recipes only call for ½ to ¾ cup in a whole recipe, the carb impact is very minimal. Try blueberries in these Keto blueberry recipes:

  • Blueberry Cheesecake Bars
  • Keto Blueberry Sauce
  • Blueberry Lemon Scones
  • Blueberry Crumb Loaf
  • Keto Blueberry Pancakes
  • Blueberry Muffins

What are the Carbs in Strawberries?

Strawberries have considerably less net carbs than blueberries. With just a little over 8.5 net grams of carbs per cup, strawberries make a great option for a Keto fruit. Here are some other great gluten free strawberry desserts:

  • Strawberry Lemonade Cake
  • Strawberry Cheesecake Smoothie
  • Strawberry Cheesecake Fat Bombs
  • Strawberry Cupcakes
  • Cheesecake with Strawberry Sauce
  • Homemade Strawberry Sauce
  • Coconut Strawberry Fat Bombs
  • Strawberry Cream Tart

What are the Carbs in Blackberries?

Blackberries have a relatively low carb count with 7 net carbs per cup. Try them in these other Keto blackberry desserts:

  • Blackberry Cheesecake Bars
  • Blackberry Keto Fat Bombs

What are the Carbs in Raspberries?

Raspberries have the least about of carbs per cup with only 6.5 net grams. Try these delicious low carb raspberry recipes:

  • Raspberry Vinaigrette
  • No Bake Chocolate Raspberry Tart
  • Mini Cheesecake with Raspberry Sauce
  • Raspberry Sauce
