These Keto fat bombs are a breeze to make. With just a few ingredients, you can make a delicious treat to keep on hand when your sweet tooth hits or when you need a little something extra to increase your healthy fats.

Toasted Coconut Fat Bombs - Keto and Low Carb

These Keto fat bombs are made with toasted coconut butter.  You use traditional coconut butter, but first toast the coconut in the oven beforehand.  This gives the coconut butter such a wonderful nutty coconut flavor!

Toasted Coconut Fat Bombs - Keto and Low Carb

If you've never made your own coconut butter before, you really must try it!  It's super easy and only takes a few minutes to make.

What's in Coconut Keto Fat Bombs

    • Toasted coconut butter
    • Grass-fed butter
    • Extra virgin organic coconut oil
    • Liquid stevia sweetener drops
    • Vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract

*Exact measurements are listed in the recipe card below.

How to Make Toasted Coconut Keto Fat Bombs

Add the toasted coconut butter, butter, coconut oil, Stevia and vanilla to a bowl and mix using a hand mixer until well combined.

Pour into silicone mini muffin molds (or an ice cube tray) and place in the freezer for 15 minutes to set.

After they have firmed up, remove the toasted coconut fat bombs and store in the refrigerator. If you're not serving them right away, or if you want to put some away to help with portion control, store them in the freezer until you're ready to eat them. Thaw in them in the fridge

    Are There Carbs in Coconut?

The star ingredient in these Keto fats bombs is coconut. The great news is there is only 1 carb per tablespoon of unsweetened coconut.

Toasted Coconut Fat Bombs - Keto and Low Carb

Can You Have Coconut on Keto?

Yes! Unlike many other fruits that are high in carbs, coconuts are mostly fiber and fat. Even better, the fat found in coconuts is MCT (medium-chain-triglycerides), which promotes a feeling of fullness and has been linked to other health benefits. If you'd like to know more about the benefits of coconuts, check out this article.

    Why Eat Keto Fat Bombs?

A Ketogenic Diet consists of a high amount of fat, moderate protein and low carbs, so the bulk of our calories come from healthy fats.  If we don't consume enough healthy fat, we run the risk of following a high protein diet which is not Keto.

Some people struggle with this concept, since we're been told for many years that fat is bad and we should eat low/no fat.  Nothing could be further from the truth!

These fats can include butter, heavy cream, coconut and coconut oil, avocados and avocado oil, mascarpone cheese, olive oil, cream cheese to name a few.  For a more comprehensive list of these foods, see my Keto Foods List!  For different ideas on how to use them , check out 15 Ways to Add More Fats into Your Keto Diet.

Most fat bombs can double as a sweet treat.  Who doesn't love a bite of something sweet, without having to make an entire cake, pie or batch of cupcakes!?

All your fab bombs look amazing. Can I use dried stevia instead of liquid stevia in them?

Thank you so much. I have never tried dried Stevia in fats bombs, so I am hesitant to recommend it. Most of my fat bombs use Swerve sweetener. I find that it has the best flavor over most sugar substitutes.

unfortunately I do not know how much of anything I will be eating as the nutritional facts are not for 100g but for a serving and it does not say how much the serving is chosen to be. Such a pity, looks amazing. I guess this is for all the recipes which means I'm out.

The recipe states that there are 10 servings, so the serving size is one fat bomb. All my recipes have the number of servings listed in them and the nutrition info is per serving. I hope that helps you!
