☑️ Storage Instructions

Store leftovers in an airtight container or covered glasses for up to 3 days. Freezing it not recommended. The mascarpone and whipped cream mixture can become grainy once thawed.

🔄 Substitutions and Additions

  • Nuts: Add a slivered almonds or pecans between the layers for a little crunch
  • Chocolate: Mix in a few sugar-free chocolate chips with the cream for a fun twist.
  • Extract: Try a touch of almond extract instead of vanilla for a subtle flavor shift.
  • Topping: Drizzle a sugar-free Strawberry Sauce over the top for a pretty finish.
  • Garnish: Add a sprig of fresh mint for a pop of color and extra freshness.

💡 Tips

  • Whip the heavy cream until it forms stiff peaks for the best texture. Soft peaks will make the dessert too loose.
  • Make sure the mascarpone is softened before mixing. Cold cheese can clump and won’t blend smoothly.
  • Use a hand mixer or stand mixer for quicker prep. Whipping by hand takes longer and may affect the final consistency.
  • Taste the cream mixture before layering. Depending on your berries, you may want to adjust the sweetener.
  • Chill the dessert for 10-15 minutes if you want it firmer, but it’s great right away too.
